Alan Viars is a technologist champion for health information technology. His innovative designs have received multiple awards and accolades in the health IT marketplace. Early in his career Viars provided biometrics systems design for the Department of Defense Biometrics and Identity Management Agency (BIMA). Viars holds an Masters in Computer Science from West Virginia University. He is married with one daughter and resides in Baltimore, MD.

Sumi Pradhan has been with Videntity since 2006. Sumi is Videntity’s manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, and corporate compliance. Her experience spans accounting firms and multiple for profit organizations. Sumi holds a Bachelors degree in accounting form the University of Maine and Masters in Accounting from WVU.

Mark Scrimshire (aka @ekivemark) is a Health and Social Technology Consultant. Mark is well known in the Health Care world as Chief Instigator and Co-Founder of the non-profit HealthCamp Foundation organizing un-conference events around the world that “Empower Health Care Engagement.” Mark has managed complex projects in Health Care, Internet, Telecommunications and the Finance world. Mark is based in Maryland and is a qualified Ski Instructor.

Arjun Hattiangadi is an investor, developer, and manager of Healthcare technology companies for the International and Commercial Services Division (ICSD) of UPMC. At ICSD, Arjun works with companies of every life cycle stage, of varying ownership structures, and across different sectors. He is also Treasurer for the Western Pennsylvania HIMSS chapter and is active in the Pittsburgh startup community. Before joining ICSD, Arjun wore several hats in the software field including project manager, architect and developer, client liaison, and teacher. Academically, he obtained an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University in addition to degrees in Computer Science (M.S. & B.S.) and Chemistry (B.S.)
