Share My Health
Share My Healthis an API gateway and OAuth2 server. As an off shoot of Medicaire’s CMS Blue Button 2.0 API, Share My Health is a tool for creating enterprise APIs for B-to-C and B-to-B applications. Any RESTful API can be managed through the gateway, including FHIR APIs. Your organization can tailor its own API infrastructure from this base project. Share My Health is designed to work seamlessly with its sister project Verify My Identity, an open source Open ID Connect Provider. Share My Health is written in Django and is free open source software under the Apache2 license. Commercial support is provided by Videntity.
Verify My Identity
Verify My Identity (VMI) is an Open ID Connect Provider, and OAuth2 provider. Although a generic server, this service was created to facilitate the trusted exchange of sensitive (health) information. The implementation includes administrative tools for managing organizations, individuals, and relationships between them. VMI conveys identity assurance information in accordance with NIST Digital Identity Guidelines. If there is a feature you would like added to this project please submit a request on Github . Blue Button 2.0
Blue Button2.0 from CMS is an API that contains four years of Medicare Part A, B and D data for 53 million Medicare beneficiaries.This data reveals a variety of information about a beneficiary’s health, including type of Medicare coverage, drug prescriptions, primary care treatment and cost. Beneficiaries also have full control over how their data can be used and by whom, with identity and authorization controlled by MyMedicare.gov. Blue Button 2.0 uses the HL7 FHIR standard for beneficiary data and the OAuth 2.0 standard for beneficiary authorization. Blue Button 2.0 open source software was created by Videntity Systems Inc.
Provider Data Tools
Provider Data Tools , or pdt, contains a handful of command-line utilities and related code libraries for parsing and manipulating health provider information collected and distributed by the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES). pdt is a Python package and can be installed with easy_install or pip.
Direct Certificate Discovery API
django-direct is an open source API for discovering and inspecting Direct x509 certificates via DNS and LDAP. Direct is a communication platform for health information exchange covered under HIPAA. The US federal regulation known as Meaningful Use mandates the use of Direct to meet certification criteria. Direct is based on email and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for the exchange of personal health information (PHI). Direct relies on digital certificates to operate. django-direct is a Python package and can be installed with easy_install or pip.
