Blue Button Parser
How we work support the Blue Button Initiative: In August of 2010, the US government create the “Blue Button”—a web-based feature through which patients may easily download their health information and share it with health care providers, caregivers, and others they trust. Since then, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have beta-tested their respective systems—with great success. A Blue Button file is an ASCII text file. Videntity created an open-source Blue Button Parser to make it easy for developers to incorporate information contained in the file into other services and applications.
Open Mobile Health Exchange (OMHE) Microsyntax
How we support open health standards OMHE Microsyntax is a simple, open source, and royalty-free format for the exchange of common health information such as weight, blood glucose, and blood pressure. OMHE is designed as an output from medical devices and applications. Videntity created an open-source parser and validator library for OMHE.
